Dow, Hearst Plan New Magazine: Dow Jones & Co. and Hearst Corp., unfazed by the sickly state of the magazine industry, said they will test-market a personal-business magazine called SmartMoney next March. The joint-venture partners said they will initially print 400,000 copies of SmartMoney. It will be devoted to individual investing and will be produced by editors and reporters of the Wall Street Journal.
