Kern County Woman Dies in Head-On Crash

A 50-year-old Kern County woman was killed Wednesday in a head-on collision in the Antelope Valley, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Mary Thome of Weldon was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred at 20844 East Ave. J about 7:40 a.m., CHP Officer Tim Larios said.
