Coach Jerry Tarkanian of Nevada Las Vegas applauded efforts by state legislatures at Orlando, Fla., to require the NCAA to adhere to legal due process rules in its investigations of college sports.
Tarkanian, who has battled the NCAA for years over its enforcement procedures, told a panel at the National Conference of State Legislatures that the NCAA is unlikely to change on its own.
