Satellite Pact for Comarco: Comarco Inc. said it has been awarded a new contract, worth a potential $6.5 million, for engineering services and logistics support for the federal Global Positioning System, a satellite navigation program. Anaheim-based Comarco has been performing similar work under a series of pacts since 1984. The new contract is a one-year agreement with options for two additional years. A spokesman for Comarco said the contract is not expected to result in new hiring. Services under the contract are to be performed at the GPS program office at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.
