Televised Car Chase

I was one of those who stood riveted to the TV screen in the mall as the live high-speed chase of the man who killed the good Samaritan and then made his way down here played out on Jan. 3.
What impacted me was the incredible potential for danger for those involved and for those who were by happenstance nearby. Police officers risk their lives daily and as bystanders we also risk our lives because we live in an increasingly violent society.
Guns are a major factor in this violence and there needs to be better gun control because what we have now is obviously not working.
