Scheduling note: The Sunkist Invitational indoor track and field meet has been moved from its traditional late January date to Feb. 15 at the Sports Arena. High school events begin at noon.

Among the county athletes scheduled to compete is Sunny Hills’ Carrie Garritson, a Kinney national cross-country championship meet qualifier who will run the two-mile event. Last year as a freshman, Garritson finished fifth in the 3,200 meters, in 10 minutes 39.17 seconds, at the CIF State meet.
