HemaCare Reports Profit of $21,000 for 1st Quarter

HemaCare Corp. of Sherman Oaks reported a $21,000 profit in its first quarter ended March 31, the result of continued growth in the company’s core businesses, blood-related products and services.
A year earlier, HemaCare lost $209,000.
The latest quarter’s profit came on revenue of $3.18 million, a 69% increase from $1.88 million in the first three months of 1991.
