$peaking Out: Aerosmith, the Boston-based rock band known for such sexually charged tunes as “Walk This Way” and “Love in an Elevator,” says it will “defend freedom of expression” by donating $10,000 to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s List Gallery to replace money no longer forthcoming from the National Endowment for the Arts. Last week, NEA acting chairman Anne-Imelda Radice overturned a $10,000 grant recommendation to the List Gallery for its “Corporal Politics” exhibit, which features fragmented body parts, including genitals.
