Being Neighborly: Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra members will split into two groups Saturday at 7 p.m. and donate their services to perform two free neighborhood concerts--one at the Wilshire Ebell Theater and the other in St. Brigid’s Church on Western Avenue in South-Central Los Angeles. Mezzo-soprano Florence Quivar has been released a day early from rehearsals with the Metropolitan Opera in New York in order to sing at the St. Brigid concert. Violinist Michelle Kim will be soloist at the Ebell.
