Coach Jim Sweeney and his Fresno State Bulldogs must be savoring Rob Johnson’s pre-Freedom Bowl statement that “we’re not happy to be here, but since we are, we’re going to make the most of it.”
In the final analysis, USC was right--it clearly did not deserve to play in the Freedom Bowl.
The pregame comments made by USC players give a whole new meaning to USC--Unjustifiable Superiority Complex.
