POWER OF LONGEVITY: Conservative political pundit Pat Buchanan took his first White House job for Richard Nixon and has been a Nixon loyalist since. He’ll be on hand Thursday when Nixon returns to his presidential library in Yorba Linda to announce a new studies center there. . . . Says Buchanan: “It is natural and fitting that the new center will dwell on questions of war and peace.” As for Nixon’s enemies, Buchanan adds: “He has the greatest revenge; he has outlived them.”
