Among the groups providing counseling or referrals to counseling for earthquake victims:

(800) 854-7771 has been set up as a toll-free information and referral hot line for people who have been emotionally affected by the earthquake. In addition, county centers are offering free counseling to victims.

Offering food, shelter and free initial counseling for displaced earthquake victims. Psychiatrists on staff are also available to travel free of charge to nearby emergency rooms and shelters to counsel earthquake victims and their families.
