SIMI VALLEY : Police Searching for Robbery Suspect

Simi Valley police were searching for the man who robbed a Subway sandwich shop at gunpoint shortly after the store opened Wednesday morning.
The man entered the shop at 22468 Stearns St. at 8:39 a.m. and spoke to the clerk before displaying a gun and demanding money, said Sgt. Mike King.
The clerk gave the man several hundred dollars in cash and he fled on foot, King said.
No shots were fired and no one was injured.
