SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : Event to Aid Animal Rescue Foundation

The Animal Rescue Foundation will hold its second annual “Elegant Silent Auction” Sept. 11.
Some of the items to be auctioned off include animal-themed art by William Wegman, Suzanne Somers memorabilia, resort vacations and restaurant gift certificates. The auction will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Cafe Mozart, 31952 Camino Capistrano.
Admission is $15 and champagne and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
ARF, which has 1,500 members, offers wildlife rescues, a meals-on-wheels pet food program, classes in responsible pet ownership and an adoption service for homeless animals.
