Volleyball/Outside Hitter

Luna, from Dana Hills High, is taking her volleyball career in a new direction. She started out at UC Santa Barbara out of high school but wanted a change. At Golden West, she leads in kills (110), digs (96) and aces (37). Much of her season’s work came last week when Golden West, the top-ranked team in the state, played 23 games. Luna had 79 kills, 23 aces and 82 digs for the Rustlers, which won two Orange Empire Conference matches and went 6-3 in the Arizona Valley of the Sun tournament.
