Opening Available on Planning Commission

The city is now seeking applications for a two-year position on the Planning Commission.
Candidates for the seat, left vacant by Lynn Dawson’s resignation, must be registered voters and Dana Point residents.
The job of the Planning Commission is to make recommendations to the City Council on land use and proposed developments. The commission also ensures that projects meet the city’s codes and ordinances and that the city’s general plan is followed.
Applications are available at City Hall, 33282 Street of the Golden Lantern, Suite 203. They must be completed and returned to the city clerk’s office by 5 p.m. Dec. 31. Information: (714) 248-3505.
