A man wanted on suspicion of assaulting a Santa Ana couple during a robbery in which cash and Beanie Babies were stolen was arrested Thursday, police said.
With his lawyer at his side, Bradley Som Lee, 20, of Lawndale turned himself in to the Santa Ana Police Department. He had been positively identified in a photo lineup Wednesday by the victims, Sergio and Carol Garcia, officials said.
Lee was being held on suspicion of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon, officials said, adding that a second suspected robber is still at large.
The Garcias were robbed at their storefront warehouse in Santa Ana on April 9. They told police that two men attacked them with a metal pipe and made off with $1,000 in cash and 22 Beanie Babies said to be valued at more than $10,000.
