Commitment Waned After Marcus Left

Los Angeles’ loss was Kansas City’s gain when Al Davis decided to change the Raiders’ motto to “Just Wince, Baby!” What Davis was thinking then or now I don’t know or care. My 2-year-old makes more sense than he does.

I suppose the only good thing about Marcus Allen retiring is that I can stop rooting for the Chiefs twice a year when they play the Raiders and start rooting for the Silver & Black again. But it has been fun seeing close-ups of a miserable Al Davis as Marcus and the Chiefs repeatedly have proved Davis wrong for the last five years.
