Traffic will be affected by the installation of traffic signals at Pacific Coast Highway and 8th Street, Caltrans said.
Crews are digging trenches to erect left-turn signals for the northbound and southbound lanes of the heavily traveled thoroughfare, said Caltrans spokeswoman Margie Tiritilli, and the intersection will be reduced to one lane in each direction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The $77,000 project is expected to be completed in late September, she said.
