In the Century League boys’ finals:

Davis breaks record--Shelton Davis won the 400 in 48.8 seconds, a Villa Park record. Santa Ana Valley’s Damon Roberts won the 110 hurdles in 14.6 seconds. Canyon’s Chris Jackson won the long jump (22-2 1/4). Villa Park won the title with 140 points.

In the Century League girls’ finals:

Davis wins--Santa Ana Valley’s Crystal Davis won the 100 in 11.9 seconds and the 200 in 24.6 seconds, two of the best times in the county. El Modena’s Jessica Dahlberg took first in the 800 (2:22.8) and the 1,600 (5:13.9). The Vanguards won the title with 183 points.
