Veterans Day Parade Set for Saturday

Residents and businesses in north Long Beach will host a Veterans Day parade Saturday.
The event will begin with a military fly-by at 9:30 a.m. The parade will leave at 10 a.m. from Houghton Park on Atlantic Avenue and Harding Street. Entertainment, including a band playing swing, will be presented after the parade until about 3 p.m.
Disabled people may park at Jordan High School. They also may make use of special viewing areas, although organizers suggest they bring lawn chairs.
