Who says we won’t have President Clinton’s impeachment trial to kick around anymore?

As his Senate trial ended Friday in acquittal, the curtain rose in Hollywood on a musical about the sex scandal at the heart of the case.

“Starr Struck: A Musical Investigation” opened this week with 30 original songs based on transcripts and news reports.

Alan Glueckman, who conceived the show and wrote the lyrics, said: “It’s about sex and power, love and betrayal, high ideals and low morals. You have all the classic elements.”
