Cal Lutheran University has been recognized by Admission Marketing Report for its science outreach Web site and the fall 1998 issue of CLU Magazine.
The two Gold Awards are for design excellence among schools with enrollment of 2,000 to 5,000 students.
The Web site, at https://www.clunet.edu/Sciences, promotes the science programs at CLU to prospective students and provides teaching modules for high school teachers. The site, funded as part of the James Irvine Foundation Grant, was designed as an internship project by Penny Yost, a 1983 CLU graduate who is completing her second major in the multimedia program.
CLU Magazine is published three times a year and covers current events, changes, progress and people at the university.
