The Los Angeles County coroner’s office identified a man who was shot to death in an apartment building Monday as a 27-year-old Chatsworth resident.
Jeffrey Shapiro was shot several times about 11:10 p.m. Monday at an apartment in the 20400 block of Sherman Way, according to authorities.
Neighbors told detectives they heard an argument in the apartment shortly before the shooting. One witness said she saw a group of five or six people coming out of the unit.
Authorities said they are seeking two suspects in the case, Sandro Bermet, 25, and Jamil Al-Jally, 22.
