Cal State Fullerton students hope to educate the public about homelessness in Southern California through a Web site project launched Wednesday. The project, led by communications professor Paul Lester, is the marriage of photojournalism and Web design classwork. Photojournalism students spent the last semester documenting the lives of homeless people, and design students used the images and words to create the site. The site also includes information on local homeless shelters, recent statistics on the homeless and a listing of various programs to help get the homeless off the streets. The site is at https://commfaculty.fullerton.edu/lester/homeless/.
