Newbury Park 57, Agoura 34--Rachel Hever scored 10 of her 21 points in the fourth quarter and the Panthers won a Marmonte League game at Newbury Park.
Newbury Park (17-4, 7-0), ranked No. 5 in the region by The Times, employed a full-court press for most of the game and forced Agoura (12-10, 3-4) into several turnovers.
Simi Valley 55, Thousand Oaks 35--Teresa Cooper had 14 points and five assists, and Elise Metcalf added 14 points for the Pioneers (15-6, 5-2) in a Marmonte League victory at Simi Valley.
Moorpark 55, Westlake 54--Kristin Nadas had 16 points and nine rebounds for the Musketeers in a Marmonte League victory at Moorpark.
Libby Cantwell added 10 points for Moorpark (12-8, 4-3), which trailed at the end of three quarters, 41-38.
Heather Woods scored 17 points and Tawny Thorp added 16 for Westlake (9-9, 2-5).
Kennedy 38, Reseda 37--Jevay Grooms hit a five-foot, turnaround jump shot with eight seconds to play to give the Golden Cougars a Valley Mission League victory at Kennedy.
Grooms had eight points and 20 rebounds for Kennedy (11-6, 5-0). Michelle Gutierrez added 14 points and Linnae Barber had 11 for the Golden Cougars.
Andrea Bermas had 13 points for Reseda (8-11, 2-3).
Monroe 31, Sylmar 22--Shakira Jones had 12 points, six assists, and four steals for the Vikings in a Valley Mission League victory at Sylmar.
Rasheeda Gray, who was playing in her first game after missing a week because of a thumb injury, scored the last six points of the game. She had eight points and 10 rebounds.
Shani Harris scored 12 points for Sylmar.
