Fluor Corp. announced the resignation of its chief financial officer, Ralph Hake, and said it tapped Litton Industries Inc. CFO D. Michael Steuert as his successor. Hake resigned to pursue other professional interests, the Aliso Viejo-based construction and engineering company said. Steuert will join Fluor on Monday.

Gerald Solomon has been appointed president and chief executive of Public Health Foundation Enterprises, with responsibility for managing more than $62.4 million in various programs. Solomon was chief executive of the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce. Public Health Foundation Enterprises is a nonprofit organization that provides development, promotion and support of programs and activities to improve public health.
