Man Arrested in Fullerton Killing

Fullerton police Tuesday arrested a Monrovia man in this month’s fatal shooting of another man in an apparent argument over a woman.
Nicolas Garcia, 32, is expected to be charged in the killing of David Santamaria, 26, of Huntington Beach, said Fullerton Police Lt. Doug Cave.
The two argued Saturday, ending in Santamaria’s death in the 2300 block of Iris Court. Police found no evidence of gang involvement, Cave said.
“It appears that the suspect and victim shared a relationship with a female,” he said, “and that was probably the nexus of the shooting.”
