Wind Farm Settlement Saves Edison Millions

Southern California Edison Co. will save more than $50 million on wind power in a settlement of allegations that Enron Corp. hid ownership of its California wind farms through secret partnerships, federal regulators said.
Eight wind farms agreed to reduce rates for the Edison International unit after the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission questioned whether Enron improperly sought favorable regulatory status for the generators.
