From Times Wire Reports
Thunderstorms forced three commercial aircraft with 452 people aboard to divert to Nellis Air Force Base near Las Vegas.
The Southwest, US Airways and Delta flights waited two hours for weather to clear for the hop to McCarran International Airport. There were no injuries.
The pilots diverted when severe storms packing gusty winds and lightning swept into the area as they approached McCarran, near the Las Vegas Strip.
