Kudos to The Times for addressing it at all, but if a white baseball player didn’t care about passing Mark McGwire’s home run totals but wanted to “erase” Barry Bonds and Sammy Sosa from baseball, we wouldn’t be talking about his “arrogance”; we’d be talking about his racism.
