2 Held on Suspicion of Child Endangerment

Sheriff’s deputies found 10 children “living in ankle-deep clutter and appalling filth” Thursday in a rented house used by suspected drug dealers in Lancaster, a sheriff’s official said.
Deputies found the children, ranging in age from 2 to 17, living in “deplorable conditions,” according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies arrested two women at the house on suspicion of child endangerment and having drugs, the official said.
