A couple escaped injury late Wednesday when a 2-ton boulder slid down a hill and crashed into their home, authorities said.
The boulder, the size of a compact car, crashed through a brick wall and slammed into the kitchen of the couple’s home in the 28600 block of Silverado Canyon Road in Silverado Canyon sometime between 11 p.m. and midnight, officials said.
County inspectors deemed the house unsafe, and the homeowners were staying at a hotel.
