Endorsement: Now that she has parlayed being overweight into a TV series, Kirstie Alley has come up with a way to capitalize on shedding her excess pounds. With only two episodes left to shoot for “Fat Actress,” a Showtime series due to premiere in March, Alley has signed to be a spokeswoman for the Jenny Craig weight loss program.

Series: Dr. Drew Pinsky, who gained fame dispensing medical and sexual advice on the “Loveline” radio and TV series, will host a weekly series for the Discovery Health Channel next year, “Strictly Sex With Dr. Drew.”
