Bank Robber Could Get 40 Years in Prison

A Redlands man pleaded guilty Monday in federal court in Idaho to three bank robberies, including a pair of 2004 heists in the Inland Empire, officials said.
Charles Benton Bagwell, 33, faces up to 40 years in federal prison. In addition to a Nov. 29, 2004, bank robbery in Boise, Bagwell pleaded guilty to robbing Provident Bank in Redlands on Sept. 18 and Citibank in Riverside on Nov. 2, 2004.
