The Karl Rove/Sen. Richard Durbin (D-Ill.) flap exquisitely highlights the differences between Democrats and Republicans. Democrats tell the truth, then apologize for it in tears. Republicans tell lies, then brazenly claim they’re true (June 24). The latter is worse. But not by much.
