Christopher J. Warmuth, 51, has been promoted to president of City National Bank, succeeding George H. Benter Jr., 63, who will stay on as vice chairman, the Beverly Hills company said Wednesday.
Warmuth, who had been the bank’s chief credit officer, will be responsible for commercial and private banking as well as City National’s entertainment, real estate and branch banking. He will join the boards of the bank and its parent, City National Corp.
