Hallmark gets Disney film rights

Hallmark Channel, owned by Crown Media Holdings Inc. of Studio City, said it bought the rights to 99 movies from Walt Disney Co., including “Old Yeller” and “The Santa Clause,” to reach younger audiences.
The deal is for eight years, a Hallmark Channel spokeswoman said. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
