Superstore In this new Halloween episode Dina (Lauren Ash) investigates a theft and won’t let the staff leave the store, interrupting their holiday plans. Nico Santos, America Ferrera, Ben Feldman and Nichole Bloom also star. 8 p.m. NBC

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Shocked to discover that he has powers himself, Nate (Nick Zano) accidentally lands himself and Ray (Brandon Routh) in feudal Japan. 8 p.m. KTLA

Grey’s Anatomy Under pressure from Catherine Avery (guest star Debbie Allen), Bailey (Chandra Wilson) is forced to make a decision about Alex (Justin Chambers). Ellen Pompeo, Kevin McKidd and James Pickens Jr. also star in this new episode of the medical drama. 8 p.m. ABC

Rosewood A man who comes into Magic City Lab and asks to pay in advance for his own autopsy then turns up dead the next day. Morris Chestnut, Jaina Lee Ortiz, Lorraine Toussaint and Domenick Lombardozzi star in this new episode. 8 p.m. Fox

The Good Place Michael and Eleanor (Ted Danson, Kristen Bell) have a private meeting in which he puts her to a test. William Jackson Harper, Manny Jacinto, Jameela Jamil and D’Arcy Carden also star. 8:30 p.m. NBC

The Great Indoors Joel McHale (“Community”) stars as an outdoor-magazine journalist who has to bring his adventurous spirit inside when the publication goes digital and he supervises a staff of young journalists. Stephen Fry plays the magazine’s founder and Susannah Fielding as the owner’s daughter. Christopher Mintz-Plasse also stars. 8:30 p.m. CBS

Chicago Med Dr. Manning (Torrey DeVitto) must break the news to the parents of a young cancer patient that her condition is far more serious than she realized. 9 p.m. NBC

Supernatural When a crying infant leads to a death in a creepy abandoned house, the Winchester brothers (Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles) investigate, while Castiel and Crowley (Misha Collins, Mark A. Sheppard) team up to hunt for Lucifer (guest star Rick Springfield). 9 p.m. KTLA

Notorious Jake (Daniel Sunjata) learns a disturbing secret about his ex-lover after their affair is splashed all over live TV. Piper Perabo also stars with guest stars Adam Rayner and Missi Pyle. 9 p.m. ABC

Pure Genius A billionaire (Augustus Prew) founds and funds an ultra-modern hospital designed to marry medicine and technology. The series premiere introduces Dermot Mulroney as the self-styled surgeon who becomes the Bunker Hill Hospital’s chief of staff, with medical-show veterans Odette Annable (“House”) and Reshma Shetty (“Royal Pains”) in the ensemble cast. 10 p.m. CBS
