Talking TV: âSherlockâ is back on the case; whatâs your take?
After two unforgivably long years, âSherlockâ is back, returning the hilariously ubiquitous Benedict Cumberbatch (even Meryl Streep doesnât juggle âStar Trekâ with âAugust: Osage Countyâ) to the role he was born to play.
The reaction of John Watson (Martin Freeman) to the sight of his resurrected friend is one we all share -- who doesnât want to embrace Cumberbatch and Freeman, not to mention creators Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat, for stringing us along in this coy and highly effective way?
Thank God we have âElementaryâ to tide us over in the long empty spaces.
