“X-Factor” was reportedly passing out pink slips this week, leaving some big openings on next season’s judges panel. The casualties? Reportedly, Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and host Steve Jones. Simon Cowell will have his work cut out for him finding replacements, but maybe we can help. How about an all-British judging panel? A collection of indie-rock favorites? Or a reunion of former “Idol” personalities? If we were running “The X Factor,” this is who we’d put on the panel.
