*Beach Boulevard and Atlanta Avenue: Trespassing was reported at 2:59
a.m. Wednesday.
*Bolsa Chica Road and Heil Avenue: A suspicious and disoriented older
male was reported walking with a shopping cart in the southbound slow
lane of Bolsa Chica at 11:54 p.m. Wednesday.
*Brookhurst Street: A suspect was reported throwing an alternator
through a window at 10:06 a.m. Wednesday in the 19000 block.
*Brookhurst Street: A hit-and-run misdemeanor involving hitting a gas
pump was reported at 7:13 a.m. Sunday in the 20000 block.
*Delaware Street: A woman thought her neighbor knocked over a fountain
in her yard and reported it to authorities at 12:26 p.m. Saturday in the
1800 block.
*Goldenwest Street and Yorktown Avenue: A subject using a portable
car-washer and doing business on the owner’s property was reported at
12:18 p.m. Sunday.
*Goodwin Lane: A pet was reported stolen at 5:57 p.m. Thursday in the
18400 block.
*Juliette Low Drive: A suspicious circumstance involving subjects
standing on a field next to a fire was reported at 11:47 p.m. Saturday in
the 7700 block.
*Pacific Coast Highway: A male breaking into a vehicle and trying to
remove a stereo was reported at 5:50 p.m. Saturday in the 17000 block.
*Pacific Coast Highway and Beach Boulevard: People throwing water
balloons at pedestrians was reported at 11:06 a.m. Sunday.
*Sable Drive: A suspicious person that unhooked a hose at a residence
was reported at 12:31 p.m. Thursday in the 8500 block.
*Sims Street and Warner Avenue: Subjects in front of cottages setting
off fireworks was reported at 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
*Tamaru Drive: A fight involving approximately 20 people, some with
bats and sticks, was reported at 10:02 p.m. Saturday in the 8300 block.
*Treehaven Lane: A hit-and-run misdemeanor involving two men that
drove through a wall and into the reporting party’s backyard was reported
at 2:16 a.m. Sunday in the 17200 block.
*Warner Avenue: A prowler was reported peering into a bedroom window
at 1:02 a.m. Sunday in the 8200 block.
*Warner Avenue: The burglary of a residence was reported at 1:56 p.m.
Friday in the 6700 block.
*Wieder: Narcotics activity involving two females and three males was
reported at 3:19 p.m. Friday.
*Wild Rose Lane: Subjects picking up bricks and throwing them into a
truck were reported as being too loud. Authorities were notified at 4:22
a.m. Sunday in the 17200 block.
