SCHOOL LUNCH MENU

The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day
at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if
desired. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot
entree. School lunches are $1.75 each; the district does not accept
checks for less than $17.50. Here’s what’s being served this week:
TODAY
Munchable Lunch Salad with fruit yogurt or chicken gordita with
shredded lettuce and dressing, choice of fruit, choice of milk.
WEDNESDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or bean and cheese burrito, whole kernel corn,
choice of fruit, choice of milk.
THURSDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or turkey and gravy with mashed potatoes,
freshly baked whole grain roll, choice of juice, choice of milk
FRIDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or breaded chicken nuggets with dipping sauce,
vegetable sticks, choice of juice, choice of milk
MONDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or hamburger on a bun with lettuce and pickles,
choice of fruit, freshly baked cookie, choice of milk
* The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,
crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit
yogurt, honey-roasted peanuts and dressing.
