BOATING FORECAST
Fog will hang around in the morning in the harbor with light winds
blowing about 10 knots. They’ll pick up to 10 to 15 knots out of the west
by afternoon and will generate 2-foot waves and a mixed south and west
swell of 4 feet. Expect the same into the evening and night, though the
fog will return.
Boaters will encounter similar conditions out farther, though the
westerly winds will ease up late to about 10 knots or less, generating
waves of about a foot.
SURF
Take a day off from the beach today as the waves roll in around the
knees, waist and, occasionally, shoulder. On Saturday, things will pick
up a tad as waist- to shoulder-high waves come in. Hold on until
Saturday.
