In answer to your question “How many homes should be built on the
Bolsa Chica?,” my response is a resounding none.
I, like many, many other Huntington Beach residents, want to preserve
the entire Bolsa Chica, including the mesa. We need the entire area
preserved as a well-functioning ecosystem for our coastal wildlife. As a
volunteer at the Wetlands and Wildlife Care Center here in Huntington
Beach, I’ve seen firsthand the impact that loss of habitat has upon our
wildlife.
We’ve lost so much of the wetlands in California -- let’s preserve
what little we have left.

In answer to your question about Bolsa Chica: No homes should be
built. Lets let the wildlife keep their homes and lives.

Not one single solitary home should be built on the Mesa. There is
enough runoff as there is. The ecosystem needs its balance for the
wetlands.

I firmly believe that zero homes should be built on the Bolsa Chica.
This valuable area of wetland is the home of many plant and animal
species, some of which are endangered. The surrounding area of the
wetlands need to stay open for the survival of this wild life. Preserve
the entire Bolsa Chica.
