Huntington Beach police are searching for a man who allegedly
attempted to rape a Huntington Beach woman in an alley behind her home
earlier this month.
The woman was not hurt but was “scared to death,” said Lt. Luis Ochoa
of the Huntington Beach Police Department.
Ochoa said the man pulled a knife and began ripping the 24-year-old
woman’s clothes off behind her home on Bell Circle about 7:30 p.m. Sept.
11 as the woman was taking out her trash.
“He started pulling her clothes off when he heard voices in the alley
and decided to run away,” Ochoa said.
The woman ran into a neighbor’s home and dialed 911.
