SCHOOL LUNCH MENU

The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if

desired. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot

entree. School lunches are $2.00 each. Here’s what’s being served this

week:

TODAY

Munchable Lunch Salad with Dannon fruit yogurt or chicken patty

sandwich on a bun, veggie sticks with low-fat dip, apple crisp, choice of

milk

WEDNESDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or two mini cheeseburgers with lettuce and

pickles, choice of fresh fruit, choice of milk

THURSDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or two soft tacos with lettuce, cheese and

salsa, choice of fruit, choice of milk

FRIDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or turkey and gravy with mashed potatoes, fresh

baked whole grain roll, choice of juice, choice of milk

MONDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or bean and cheese burrito, trail mix, choice of

fruit, choice of milk

* The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,

crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit

yogurt, honey-roasted peanuts and dressing.
