WEATHER FORECAST
Yet another beautiful day will form today as the sun shines constantly
and provides highs in the high 70s and low 80s in Newport-Mesa. It may
feel a bit warmer, however.
Overnight, expect a low in the mid-60s with clear, starry skies. Make
a wish, but don’t be greedy. Expect similar hot conditions Friday.

BOATING FORECAST
Light westerly winds will kick off the morning in the harbor but will
build to 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon and evening. Waves will roll in
at 2 feet with a southwest swell of 4 feet.
Out farther, there will again be a small craft advisory as the strong
northwesterly winds blow 15 to 25 knots throughout the day, tossing up
waves 3 to 4 feet and a swell of about 10 feet. Patchy dense fog will
roll in late.
SURF
The decent waves have returned for a couple of days and will roll in
today at waist- and shoulder-level with the occasional 5-footer. The same
should continue until Sunday, when the weak knee- to waist-highs return.
Enjoy them while they last.
