A man that allegedly stabbed his roommate repeatedly with a knife in
the abdomen and arm Sunday afternoon is still on the loose as Huntington
Beach detectives continue their investigation.
The stabbing took place at 12:57 p.m. at a residence in the 8400 block
of Saru Circle in Huntington Beach.
Charles Kapriel, 25, suffered multiple stab wounds to the abdomen and
arm and was eventually transported by ambulance to UCI Medical Center
where he is in stable condition.
The suspect is the Kapriel’s 25-year-old roommate.
Lt. Luis Ochoa of the Huntington Beach Police Department said an
argument between the two men led to the stabbing of Kapriel. The roommate
fled in a 1996 white Honda Civic.
