Maurice ‘Maury’ Gerard
Services for former Orange Coast College tennis coach Maurice
“Maury” Gerard will be held at 2:15 p.m. today at Pacific View
Memorial Park in Corona del Mar. Mr. Gerard died Wednesday after a
long bout with cancer. He was 91. Mr. Gerard is a member of the Daily
Pilot Sports Hall of Fame.
Henry Crawford
Private services will be held for 37-year Newport Beach resident
Henry Crawford. Mr. Crawford died Wednesday of natural causes. He was
93. He is survived by son Henry Crawford Jr.; stepsons Jim Worthen
and Neil Worthen; and two grandchildren.
Dorothea Riedel
Services for former Corona del Mar resident Dorothea Riedel will
be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18. Ms. Riedel, who lived in Corona
del Mar for 49 years, died Thursday. She was 87. She is survived by
son James A. Riedel; daughter Janet Ray; nine grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild.
William Robert Kidder
Private services will be held for longtime Newport Beach resident
William “Bill” Robert Kidder. Mr. Kidder died Wednesday. He was 90.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years Eloise; sons Wayne and
Russell; and three grandchildren.
